Questions, trouble, or an idea for scrth?

Email support@scrth.app. Include the macOS version you use and a short description of what happened. Please do not send note content unless it is necessary to explain the problem.

Open scrth

scrth is a menu-bar app and does not appear in the Dock. Click its menu-bar icon and choose Summon, or press ⌥Space.

Capture text

Copy text, then press ⌃⌥C to make a note from the clipboard. To capture a selection without copying it, chooseNew scrth Note with Selection from the current app’s Services menu.

Find notes

Open scrth and press ⌘L. Start typing to search the pile. Recently Deleted is available from the scrth menu-bar menu.

Reminders

Press ⌘S while viewing a note. scrth requests notification permission only when you set your first reminder. If notifications are disabled, the note still returns inside the app when it is due.

Privacy

scrth has no account, analytics, advertising, cloud service, or tracking. Notes remain on your Mac. Read theprivacy policyfor the complete details.
